Privacy Policy — Fishing Miner

Application: Fishing Miner

This Privacy Policy explains what Fishing Miner ("the Game", "we", "us") does — and does not do — with information when you play it on your Android device. Please read it before installing or playing.

1. Summary

Kun Kem Studio collects no personal data from you. The Game has no user accounts, no login, no analytics, and no crash reporting service. We operate no server, and nothing on your device reports back to us.

The Game does show advertising. Advertising is supplied by Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK), which is bundled inside the application. That SDK is a third party running on your device, and it does collect data — including your device's advertising identifier — in order to select, deliver, and measure ads. Section 6 describes what it collects and how you control it.

2. Information we collect

Kun Kem Studio itself collects nothing. We run no server and receive no data from your device. Specifically, we do not collect or access:

The advertising SDK is a separate matter. The Google Mobile Ads SDK, running inside the application on your device, reads your device's advertising identifier (AAID) and related device information and sends them to Google in order to serve ads. We never receive that data — Google does. Section 6 sets it out in full.

3. Information stored on your device

The Game stores a single local save file on your own device, at the private application storage path user://save_data.json. It contains only gameplay state:

This file never leaves your device. We cannot read it, and it is not backed up to any server by the Game. Android's own automatic cloud backup is disabled for this application (allowBackup="false"), so the operating system does not copy it either.

Deleting your data: uninstalling the Game deletes the save file along with the application. You can also clear it from Android Settings → Apps → Fishing Miner → Storage → Clear data. There is no server-side copy to request deletion of, because none was ever created.

4. Permissions the application requests

The list below was read out of the packaged application itself, not written from memory:

PermissionWhere it comes fromWhat it is for
android.permission.INTERNETGame engine's standard Android templateUsed by the ad SDK to request ads. The Game itself makes no network requests.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATEGoogle Mobile Ads SDKLets the ad SDK see whether a network is available before requesting an ad
android.permission.AD_IDGoogle Mobile Ads SDKAccess to the advertising identifier
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_IDGoogle Mobile Ads SDKAccess to the advertising identifier (Google Play services form)
android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_IDGoogle Mobile Ads SDKAndroid Privacy Sandbox — advertising identifier
android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTIONGoogle Mobile Ads SDKAndroid Privacy Sandbox — ad attribution measurement
android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICSGoogle Mobile Ads SDKAndroid Privacy Sandbox — interest topics
android.permission.WAKE_LOCKGoogle Mobile Ads SDKKeeps the device awake while an ad is playing
android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICEGoogle Mobile Ads SDKDeclared by the SDK's bundled components
com.kunkemstudio.fishingminer.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSIONGenerated per application packageInternal protection for the SDK's broadcast receivers; not usable by other apps

All of these are normal (non-dangerous) permissions: Android grants them at install time without asking you. The Game requests no dangerous or runtime permission — no location, no storage, no camera, no microphone, no contacts.

Everything below INTERNET in that table arrived with the advertising SDK. Before advertising was added, the Game declared INTERNET alone.

5. Third-party services and SDKs

The Game integrates exactly one third-party SDK: the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob), provided by Google, which delivers the advertising described in Section 6. It is compiled into the application and runs on your device. For the data it collects, Google acts as an independent controller — that data goes to Google, not to us.

Google's own documents govern what Google does with it:

There is no analytics SDK, no attribution SDK, no social login, and no cloud save provider.

The Game is built with the Godot Engine, an open-source game engine. The engine is compiled into the application binary and runs entirely on your device; it does not transmit data. The engine's license notices and those of the libraries it bundles are displayed inside the Game under Settings → Licenses.

6. Advertising

The Game is free and is funded by advertising. The advertising provider is Google AdMob, part of Google (Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland; Google LLC elsewhere).

What the advertising provider collects

Google, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK running on your device, collects:

Google uses this to select and deliver ads, to measure them, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to detect invalid traffic and fraud. We do not receive any of it. What Kun Kem Studio sees is an aggregate revenue report, with no information that identifies you.

Where advertising appears

FormatWhereHow it starts
Interstitial (full screen)Between levels, at the moment one level ends and the next beginsAutomatically, and not every time — it is rate-limited
Rewarded videoThe "more time" button on the losing screen, and the "double gold" button on the winning screenOnly when you tap the button yourself. You always get the in-game reward only if you watch the video to the end

There is no advertising while you are playing a level, and none while the pause screen is open. Advertising appears only at the boundary between levels or when you deliberately ask for it. There is no banner advertising in this version.

Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the Game shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before the first ad, and asks whether Google may use your data for personalised advertising. Your choice is stored on your device by the Google Mobile Ads SDK. If you decline, you still see advertising — it is simply non-personalised.

Withdrawing your consent — current limitation. The Game's Settings screen contains an Ad privacy options entry intended for exactly this. In the current version that entry does not reliably re-open the consent form; this is a known limitation of the advertising plugin the Game uses, and it is being tracked. Until it is fixed, you can withdraw your consent by clearing the application's data (Android Settings → Apps → Fishing Miner → Storage → Clear data) or by uninstalling the Game, which removes the stored choice; you can also reset or delete your advertising identifier in Android Settings → Google → Ads. This limitation must be resolved before the Game is distributed in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland.

Audience declaration

The Game is declared as not directed to children (Google's tagForChildDirectedTreatment is set to *false*, and tagForUnderAgeOfConsent is set to *false*). It is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over. See Section 7.

No mediation networks

The Game uses AdMob alone. No third-party mediation or ad-network adapters are enabled, so no advertising company other than Google receives data from this application.

7. Children's privacy

The Game is not directed to children and is intended for players aged 13 and over. Kun Kem Studio does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because we collect nothing at all; the advertising data described in Section 6 is collected by Google under Google's own policies.

The Game contains no chat, no user-generated content, no social features, and no links out to external content other than the policy links you deliberately tap in the Settings screen, and the ads themselves.

If you believe a child under 13 has used the Game and you want the advertising identifier associated with that use removed, reset or delete it in Android Settings → Google → Ads, or uninstall the Game.

8. Data security

Kun Kem Studio holds no data about you, so there is no database of ours to breach. The local save file is stored in the application's private storage area, which Android isolates from other applications.

The only data leaving your device is the ad request traffic described in Section 6, which the Google Mobile Ads SDK sends to Google over an encrypted connection. Its security is governed by Google's own practices, not ours.

9. Your rights

Data-protection laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA grant rights to access, correct, port, and delete personal data held about you.

Against Kun Kem Studio: we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete. Your local save file is fully under your own control as described in Section 3.

Against Google: the advertising data in Section 6 is held by Google as an independent controller. Exercise those rights directly with Google, using https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads, and turn off ad personalisation there.

10. Changes to this policy

If the Game's data practices change — for example if another advertising or analytics provider is added, or if the ad formats change — this policy will be updated and the effective date at the top will be changed. Material changes will be reflected in the Google Play listing and the Data Safety declaration before the corresponding release is published.
